In this fifth installment of The Animalist Code mini series, Emerson Howell remains in hiding with his two activist friends, Dek and Steph. He struggles daily with feelings of loss and hopelessness. As his body experiences more changes as a result of his animal powers, he grapples with lack of acceptance. He has essentially given up. But when his friend Elisha learns of S-Corp’s plan to genetically test on more animals, she and his activist friends come together to inspire Emerson to action.
